Alexander Kollmann leads Lovable’s hackathon program in EMEA and helps companies develop their own software using AI. His background ranges from building AI agents for DAX 40 companies to venture capital and even his own venture-funded startup. In this session, we’ll work together to develop an app that makes a fictional business more efficient. Who will win the grand prize?

About the company
Our case study features a precision engineering company where too many processes are done manually and systems don’t communicate with each other—we develop software specifically to address challenges like these. We’ll start by introducing Lovable as a tool: how the platform works and which best practices can be used to create functional software in a short amount of time. You’ll then have 45 minutes to develop and submit your own application—from the initial description and refinement to designing the user interface and integrating data. No prior knowledge is required; the format is specifically designed for technical and business decision-makers as well. At the end of the day, all results will be presented, and prizes will be awarded to the three best submissions. The grand prize: Lovable credits worth more than 1,000 euros.
