Dr. Florence Gaub

Research Director | NATO Defense College

Dr. Florence Gaub is a German-French scholar. Since May 2023, she has headed the Research Department at the NATO Defense College in Rome. Prior to that, she served as deputy director of the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) in Paris from 2018 to 2022. Her career has also taken her to the NATO Defense College in Rome. She studied political science and contemporary history in Munich and Paris and earned her Ph.D. from Humboldt University in Berlin.
