Minister of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wüst MdL was born in Rhede on 19 July 1975. He is married and has one daughter. Wüst studied law at Münster University. After his second state law degree in 2003, he was admitted to the bar. He has been a directly elected member of the North Rhine-Westphalian State Parliament since 2005. From 2017 to 2021, he held the office of Minister of Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Since 27 October 2021, Mr. Wüst has been Prime Minister of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia
