Dr. Klaus Michel

Dr. Klaus Michel has been Managing Director of Airbus Defence and Space GmbH since May 2026.

He holds a doctorate in engineering and brings more than 25 years of experience in the space and defence industry, spanning various roles in sales and management.

Joining Airbus in 2019, he served in different leadership positions within the company, including responsibility for the telecommunications business of the Space division in Germany.
