Matthias Punz heads SZ Dossier, the specialized briefing division of the Süddeutsche Zeitung. He is a founding member of the division and has successfully established the “Digitalwende” dossier in the market. Previously, he also developed specialized journalism briefings at the Tagesspiegel. In his home country of Austria, Matthias Punz worked for various media outlets, including the Wiener Zeitung. He studied economics, contemporary history, and media at the University of Vienna.
