Oliver Lauer

Oliver is Chief Digital Officer and heads the digitallabor.berlin at the German Savings Banks and Giro Association (DSGV). He has 35 years of experience in the banking and insurance industries. As Chief Platform Officer, Chief Architect, and Architecture Manager, he has demonstrated his expertise in designing complex systems and strategies. As Head of Innovation and Head of Architecture at a major global insurer and a bank, he specialized in the transformation and digitalization of large insurance and banking companies. In addition to his leadership roles, he has built and led innovation teams at major financial institutions and fostered internal incubators to drive innovative projects forward. He is also known as a trend scout in the fintech and insurtech sectors.
