Dr. Maximilian Ahrens has been Managing Director T Digital at Deutsche Telekom since January 2023. Previously, he held the role of CTO and VP Cloud Strategy at T-Systems, the corporate customer division of Deutsche Telekom. Maximilian has a background as an entrepreneur. Before joining T-Systems, he founded and then sold a majority stake in a cloud infrastructure technology company that allowed customers to deploy and manage distributed clouds. As CTO and CPO, he led the product strategy and development teams. Maximilian is on the Board of Directors of the GAIA-X Association and was its Chairman from 2021-2023.
